The recently renovated Schönberg Chapel - founded by Bonifatius followers - rises above the Schwalm valley in all its splendour.

The visitor, who has climbed the more than ninety Steps, is rewarded with a fabulous view of the wide Schwalm plain.

Traditional local "white embroidery", knitting and spinning are populär with young and old alike. Anyone who has seen a "splendid Schwalm woman" in her traditional costume will never forget this admirable sight. The costumes are not only worn at special occasions.
The "Museum of the Schwalm Region" and the "Holzburg Village Museum" exhibit many interesting objects from times gone by. - Schwalm pottery and the plaiting of traditonal wicker baskets are crafts that are still practised today.
